Dr. Michi Brog is responsible for plant breeding in Canonic in accordance with product definition, and uses genetic and computational tools to develop medical cannabis strains.

Dr. Brog joined Canonic in 2019. He began his professional career in 2016 at the Evogene company as a trait researcher of agricultural crops and computational genomics. He later moved to Casterra AG Ltd. where he worked as a cultivator.

Dr. Brog holds a Bachelor of Science degree at the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2007), a Master’s of Science and Doctorate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Genetics and Tomato Enhancement (2013).
